Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Cape May County Tech

Cape May County Tech unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Gateway Regional Gators on Monday, falling 6-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Cape May County Tech's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Gateway Regional, they now have a winning record of 1-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape May County Tech will be taking part in a tournament against Salem County Vo-Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Gateway Regional, they will face off against Paulsboro at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be Gateway Regional's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
