After only one run in their last game, Garber made sure to put some runs up on the board against Glenn on Wednesday. The Dukes blew past the Bobcats 12-6. Considering the Dukes have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Ethan Pett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Pett was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Nolan Collins was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Ryan Brey was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.
