Recap: Myers Park Mustangs vs. Olympic Trojans

The Myers Park Mustangs entered their tilt with the Olympic Trojans with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. Everything went Myers Park's way against Olympic on Tuesday as Myers Park made off with a 58-35 victory. Myers Park has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Sadiq White Jr. was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with five blocks. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bishop Boswell, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Despite the loss, Olympic still got an impressive performance from DEANGELO HALL, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals. IAN TOMLINSON was another key contributor, scoring five points along with two steals.

Myers Park's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2. As for Olympic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13.

Myers Park will head out on the road to take on South Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Mecklenburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past ten matchups -- so hopefully Myers Park likes a good challenge. As for Olympic, they will be playing at home against Berry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Berry focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 last Wednesday.
