Section 8 Conference IV recap October 22, 2013

Clarke's Nestor Haddo rumbled for the longest rushing play in Section 8 Conference IV this season in his game against East Rockaway last week. Haddo's team bested the Rocks as he sprinted for 80 yards on the play and finished with 141 in all.

Roosevelt added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Island Trees, 41-7. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.

Clarke's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Peter Falgione threw for 71 yards and Haddo had 36 yards receiving. On the ground Haddo contributed 141 yards. Juan Gomez helped Clarke's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 18 yards.

Haddo provided a threat through the air and on the ground as John Boyle's team topped East Rockaway.

Falgione put up the best numbers in passing as the Rams bested the Rocks.

Clarke's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Rams feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Falgione has thrown for 265 yards and 3 touchdowns this season, while Haddo has 6 catches for 170 yards.

The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Roosevelt takes on second place West Hempstead.
