Elder never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Lakota East on Wednesday. They walked away with a 10-5 win over the Thunderhawks. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Thunderhawks recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Elder's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Lakota East, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Coming up, Elder will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Cincinnati Trailblazers HomeSchool at 5:00 p.m. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trailblazers have averaged an impressive 9.2 runs per game this season. As for Lakota East, they are taking a road trip to take on Batavia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
