While St. Monica's victory against Ramona Convent wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mariners had just enough and edged out the Tigers 3-2. The win continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Bella Urbina spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on three hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season.

On the hitting side, Ali Vogler was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. Savanna Hernandez was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

St. Monica's record now sits at 9-7. As for Ramona Convent, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Monica will take on rival Mary Star of the Sea at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Ramona Convent is set to challenge their familiar foe Serra at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
