Baseball Recap: Pasadena Comes Up Short

Pasadena was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the West Fork Gators, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-4 on Tuesday.

Pasadena now has a losing record of 7-8. As for West Fork, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-13.

Pasadena and West Fork could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Eagles (ranked 962nd) will meet Porter (ranked 374th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 21st. Meanwhile, West Fork will take on Crosby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (541 vs. 152).
