Spring Mills won the last time they faced Washington and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cardinals came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

While Spring Mills might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Washington scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-18.

McKenna Mullin paced Spring Mills' offense, picking up 16 kills. Mullin got some help from Gabrielle Malatt and her 15 assists. Malatt was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Spring Mills' win bumped their record up to 18-10-1. As for Washington, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-21-4 record this season.

Spring Mills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 23rd. As for Washington, after both having extra time off, they and Wheeling Park will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 30th.
