Mccool Made His Presence Known in Castle's 62-21 Win

Castle picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Max Mccool. Mccool was dynamite, rushing for 112 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his seventh straight game with at least 112 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Mccool is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Evansville Memorial on Friday. When Mccool last faced the Tigers back in October of 2023, he rushed for 121 yards on only ten carries.

Jasseim Ussery put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in August on Friday. He rushed for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries.

This year, Ussery has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 63.6 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 6.13 rushing yards per game.
