Soccer Recap: Sandy Spring Friends' Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against McLean last Friday, Sandy Spring Friends came back down to earth. The Wildebeests lost 8-2 to the Washington International Red Devils on Tuesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Sandy Spring Friends were already down 5-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sandy Spring Friends fell to 2-1. As for Washington International, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Sandy Spring Friends will take on rival St. Anselm's Abbey at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Washington International is set to challenge their familiar foe Spencerville Adventist Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
