Basketball Game Preview: Glen Allen Jaguars vs. North Stafford Wolverines

The Glen Allen Jaguars and the North Stafford Wolverines will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glen Allen has five straight victories, North Stafford has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Glen Allen made easy work of Godwin and carried off a 67-42 win. The game marked the Jaguars' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Faron Friend and Colby Seay were among the main playmakers for Glen Allen as the former posted 23 points and seven rebounds and the latter had 15 points and three steals. Those 15 points gave Seay a new career-high. Chase James was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, North Stafford was beaten by Brooke Point 71-39 on Friday.

Glen Allen's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 19.2 points. As for North Stafford, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Glen Allen was able to grind out a solid victory over North Stafford when the teams last played back in December of 2023, winning 64-52. Does Glen Allen have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Stafford turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
