Basketball Recap: Surry County Takes a Loss

Surry County lost against Franklin back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Surry County Cougars were dealt a 68-38 defeat at the hands of the Franklin Broncos.

Surry County's loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Franklin, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-11.

Surry County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 67-50 defeat against Brunswick on the 4th. Franklin has also already played their next contest, a 68-38 victory against Surry County on the 5th.
