Football Game Preview: Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes vs. Lancaster Tigers + How To Watch

Duncanville has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lancaster recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panthers and Pantherettes will venture away from home to face off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Duncanville is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Texas' top teams: DeSoto, who was ranked 15th at the time (Duncanville was ranked third). The Panthers and Pantherettes were the clear victors by a 48-28 margin over the Eagles on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers and Pantherettes.

Maximus The Great Denson was his usual excellent self, throwing for 342 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 74.2% of his passes. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 15 passing touchdowns on the season. Emmanuel Ellison was in the mix too, providing Duncanville with two TDs.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Duncanville's defense and their three sacks. Landon Barnes refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Dylan Williams was another major factor on D, picking up a sack, making ten total tackles (2.0 for loss), and defending one pass.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Lancaster, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 55-0 win over Skyline. The matchup marked the Tigers' most dominant victory of the season.

Duncanville's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lancaster, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Everything came up roses for Duncanville against Lancaster when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 41-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers and Pantherettes since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
