Volleyball Recap: South Greene Takes a Loss

South Greene was the 2-0 winner over Tennessee when they last played one another back in August of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Rebels took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings on Tuesday.

Tennessee was led to victory by Addyson Gentry and Camden Ward. Gentry had nine digs and five assists, while Ward had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave Ward a new career-high.

South Greene's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, South Greene will square off against David Crockett at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tennessee, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Greeneville on the 19th.
