Despite a strong season so far, Midway has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-1 to the James Kenan Tigers on Wednesday. Midway were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced James Kenan earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Midway's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5-1. As for James Kenan, the victory got them back to even at 7-7-2.

Coming up, Midway will take on Wallace-Rose Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Wallace-Rose Hill will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Midway surely won't give up without a fight. As for James Kenan, they will square off against Goldsboro at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. James Kenan will be up against Goldsboro's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.19 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
