Basketball Recap: Haysville Campus Takes a Loss

Haysville Campus lost against Maize South back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Haysville Campus Colts fell 51-40 to the Maize South Mavericks. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 265th, while the Mavericks are ranked 100th).

This is the second loss in a row for Haysville Campus and nudges their season record down to 1-16. As for Maize South, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

It'll be an old-fashioned rodeo when the Colts take on the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maize South does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
