Soccer Game Preview: Westfield School vs. Bulloch Academy

The Westfield School Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Bulloch Academy Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westfield School's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Westfield School came up short against Strong Rock Christian on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Westfield School were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bulloch Academy). They never let David Emanuel Academy get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Bulloch Academy considering their one-goal performance the matchup before.

Bulloch Academy moved to 2-6-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Westfield School, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8-1.

Westfield School suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Bulloch Academy in their previous matchup back in April of 2022. Can the Hornets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
