Softball Recap: Elma Makes It Five in a Row on the Road

Elma entered their tilt with Lynden Christian on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Lyncs by a score of 10-7. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elma pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Lynden Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-7.

Elma wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-4 win against Rochester on the 15th. As for Lynden Christian, they will head out to challenge Kiona-Benton at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
