Chaffey won the last time they faced Miller and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand the Rebels a 17-0 shutout. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by seven runs or more this season.

Chaffey is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Miller, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Chaffey will head out to challenge Diamond Ranch at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.37 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
