Baseball Recap: Severn Run Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Severn Run and Old Mill squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Severn Run had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Patriots by a score of 5-3. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Severn Run now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Old Mill, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.

Severn Run does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Old Mill, they will be playing at home against Chesapeake at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
