It was a good run, but Northwest Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts.

Cadence Roberts paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up three kills. Roberts got some help from Tatum Naber and her three assists. Lily Brumbaugh controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Northwest Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Mica Mountain, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Northwest Christian has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Desert Mountain on the 20th. As for Mica Mountain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Salpointe Catholic on the 23rd.
