West Jefferson won the last time they faced Mechanicsburg and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Roughriders walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Indians. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Roughriders.

Julia Beatty paced West Jefferson's offense, picking up 19 kills. Beatty got some help from Mary Ava Wills and her 27 assists. Maddie Carruthers controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

When it comes to explaining why Mechanicsburg lost, don't look at Kenzie Stillings. Despite the final result, she had 25 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, Stillings is now averaging an impressive 10.5 digs per game.

West Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Mechanicsburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-10.
