Volleyball Recap: Appleton City/Montrose Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Appleton City/Montrose, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Ballard Bulldogs on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Appleton City/Montrose also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2021.

Despite the defeat, Ballard saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Taylinn Hester had nine kills and six assists.

The victory got Appleton City/Montrose back to even at 2-2. As for Ballard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.
