Basketball Game Preview: East Buchanan Buccaneers vs. Alburnett Pirates

The East Buchanan Buccaneers will head out to challenge the Alburnett Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Alburnett took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on East Buchanan, who comes in off a win.

Last Monday, East Buchanan was fully in charge, breezing past West Central 84-19. The Buccaneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Alburnett ended up a good deal behind Springville on Friday and lost 55-41.

East Buchanan's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41 points. As for Alburnett, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.

Everything came up roses for East Buchanan against Alburnett when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 73-37 win.
