Baseball Recap: Moore Haven Comes Up Short

Moore Haven was the 8-4 winner over Glades Day when they last played one another last Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Terriers fell 9-4 to the Gators on Friday. The Terriers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Moore Haven got a big performance out of JAELIN JOHNSON, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Kenneth Simmons, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Moore Haven's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Glades Day, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 9-10.

Moore Haven wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Fort Meade on the 15th. As for Glades Day, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-0 loss against Marathon on the 15th.
