Kearsley won the last time they faced Holly and things went their way on Friday too. The Kearsley Hornets walked away with a 52-43 win over the Holly Bronchos. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while the Bronchos are ranked 476th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kearsley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Holly, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
