Pitman extended their winning streak to seven games thanks to a huge performance from Nicoletta Dowd. The Pride came out on top against the Downey Knights by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Dowd, who had 23 assists and five digs. Dowd is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season.

Pitman had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-9, 25-14, 25-18.

Sofia Rosemire and Norah Niskanen certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Rosemire had 12 digs and one assist, while Niskanen had six assists and five digs.

Pitman's win bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Downey, their loss ended a seven-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 20-8.
