Softball Recap: Cumberland Gap Falls to Hancock County in First Game of Season

Cumberland Gap had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 7-4 to the Hancock County Indians on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.

The win (which was Hancock County's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Cumberland Gap will venture away from home to take on Washburn at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hancock County, they will host University School at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
