Softball Recap: Mount Abram Comes Up Short

Mount Abram was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Madison Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roadrunners of the 9-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2025.

Mount Abram's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Madison, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-8 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Abram will welcome Dirigo at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Madison, they will challenge Hall-Dale at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
