Franklin County hadn't done well against Madison County recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Lions had just enough and edged out the Red Raiders 2-1. While the Lions didn't have the best season last year (they finished 15-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Franklin County is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Madison County, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.
