Preview: Bridgeton vs. Lakewood

After two weeks on the road, Lakewood is heading back home. They and Bridgeton go head to head on Saturday at 1:00 PM in their first playoff game of the year. Lakewood come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.

Lakewood have been struggling to pick up a win, with their contest against Brick Township last Friday making it eight winless games in a row. Lakewood took a serious blow against Brick Township, falling 6-49.

Meanwhile, it never fun to lose, and it even less fun to lose 0-48, which was the final score in Bridgeton's tilt against Delsea. Bridgeton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-40.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
