Gulf Breeze is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Florida's top teams: Booker T. Washington, who was ranked first at the time (Gulf Breeze was ranked eighth). Gulf Breeze fell just short of Booker T. Washington by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. That makes it the first time this season the Dolphins have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, Chiles kept a clean sheet against Lincoln on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Trojans 1-0. The result kept the Timberwolves happy, as they haven't lost a game since December 4, 2024.

Gulf Breeze's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-3-3. As for Chiles, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1-5.
