Softball Recap: Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish vs. Blanchard Lions
Bishop McGuinness lost against Blanchard back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bishop McGuinness Fighting Irish lost 16-1 to the Blanchard Lions. The Fighting Irish haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Bishop McGuinness now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Blanchard, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop McGuinness will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Del City at 1:30 p.m. Bishop McGuinness is facing Del City at the right time seeing as Del City is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. As for Blanchard, they will challenge Perkins-Tryon at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
