Basketball Game Preview: Bonneville Bees vs. Century Diamondbacks

Bonneville is on a three-game streak of home losses, Century a nine-game streak of away losses dating back to last season, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Bonneville Bees will host the Century Diamondbacks at 7:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bonneville is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Blackfoot on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Bonneville took a blow against Blackfoot, falling 58-26. The Bees were down 44-19 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-32, which was the final score in Century's tilt against Pocatello on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Diamondbacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Thunder are ranked tenth).

Century's loss dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Bonneville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Bonneville beat Century 40-33 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Will Bonneville repeat their success, or does Century have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
