Baseball Recap: Cosby Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matchups, Cosby finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 34-0 to the Washburn Pirates. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 1-15-1. As for Washburn, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.

While Cosby had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
