After losing to Cherokee the last time they met, Harrison decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hoyas walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors on Thursday.

Harrison easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-21.

Harrison was led to victory by Taryn Musca and Addison Cooley. Musca had nine assists and five digs, while Cooley had seven digs and three assists. Leila Smith also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Cherokee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against River Ridge on the 19th. As for Cherokee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Walton on the 19th.
