Volleyball Game Preview: Stoneman Douglas Eagles vs. Olympic Heights Lions

After both having extra time off, the Stoneman Douglas Eagles and the Olympic Heights Lions will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Olympic Heights took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Stoneman Douglas, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Stoneman Douglas had just enough and edged out Coral Springs 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Stoneman Douglas took Coral Springs into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 23-25, 25-23, 15-5.

Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Olympic Heights' good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Park Vista.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 23-25, 25-16.

Olympic Heights' loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Stoneman Douglas, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
