Volleyball Recap: North Eugene Comes Up Short

After flying high against Springfield on Tuesday, North Eugene came back down to earth. The Highlanders lost 3-0 to the Crescent Valley Raiders on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

North Eugene took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-13, 25-23.

North Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Crescent Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That somehow still isn't as good as their 30-3-2 record this season.

As of now, neither North Eugene nor Crescent Valley have any future games scheduled.
