Preview: Proctor Academy vs. Wilbraham & Monson Academy
Wilbraham & Monson Academy are packing up and hiking across state lines for their game on Saturday. They will take on Proctor Academy at 3:30 PM. Wilbraham & Monson Academy come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Wilbraham & Monson Academy, and their matchup last Friday only extended their streak of losses to four. They took a serious blow against Portsmouth Abbey last Friday, falling 0-36. The state rankings had actually given Wilbraham & Monson Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Meanwhile, Proctor Academy were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 7-12 to Kents Hill School.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
