Soccer Recap: Spring Mills Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Spring Mills's offense. They fell just short of the Charleston Catholic Irish by a score of 1-0 on Saturday. Spring Mills were not able to make up for their defeat to Charleston Catholic from their previous meeting back in August of 2022.

Spring Mills has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5-1 record this season. As for Charleston Catholic, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4-3.

Coming up, Spring Mills will be playing in front of their home fans against Martinsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Charleston Catholic, they will head out on the road to take on Winfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Charleston Catholic's defense better be ready for this one: Winfield have averaged an impressive 2.8 goals per game this season.
