Baseball Recap: Loris Takes a Loss

Loris blew Waccamaw out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Waccamaw got their revenge. The Lions fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Lions have suffered since March 18th.

Loris has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season. As for Waccamaw, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

While Loris had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
