Memorial had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Badger on Wednesday. The Red Devils blew past the Braves 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Braves: they've now won three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-10.

Jada Smith paced Memorial's offense, picking up 14 kills. Smith got some help from Da'Janelle Will and her 26 assists. Will also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Elysia Rudolphi, racking up five apiece.

Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Badger, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Memorial will take on Lowellville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Badger, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Lordstown on the 28th.
