Round Rock has gone 9-1 against Cedar Ridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will welcome the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Round Rock will be strutting in after a win while Cedar Ridge will be coming in after a defeat.

Round Rock took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against McNeil, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Dragons beat the Mavericks by a goal, winning 3-2. Given Round Rock's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while McNeil are ranked 136th) , the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Cedar Ridge has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 22. They fell just short of Round Rock Westwood by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Cedar Ridge's goal came courtesy of Jack Martin, who's now up to seven this season.

Round Rock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those eight matches. As for Cedar Ridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-4.

Round Rock got the 'W' when the teams last played back in January against Cedar Ridge by a conclusive 4-0 score. Do the Dragons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
