Dawson entered their tilt with Shadow Creek on Tuesday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sharks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Dawson's got stronger as the match went on, holding Shadow Creek to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-13, 25-12.

Avery Koonsen paced Dawson's offense, picking up 14 kills. Koonsen got some help from Taylor Ranney and her 21 assists.

Dawson's victory bumped their record up to 31-4. As for Shadow Creek, their loss ended an eight-match streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 24-14.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dawson is set to square off against their familiar foe Pearland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Shadow Creek will face off against rival Dobie at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
