Volleyball Recap: Grantsburg Victorious

Grantsburg won the last time they faced Osceola and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Pirates came out on top in a nail-biter against the Chieftains, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Grantsburg who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-21, 17-25, 15-8.

Ruby Rengo paced Grantsburg's offense, picking up seven kills. Rengo got some help from Kaylie Moore and her eight assists. Selah Prusinski controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Grantsburg's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Grantsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Prescott on the 26th. As for Osceola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against River Falls on the 26th.
