Booker and DeSoto County are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. Booker will head out to challenge DeSoto County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Booker has given up an average of 8.9 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Booker's offense. They lost 15-0 to Seminole on Wednesday. The Tornadoes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, DeSoto County didn't have quite enough to beat Sebring on Friday and fell 6-5. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Blue Streaks: they've now lost six in a row.

DeSoto County's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Booker, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Booker skirted past DeSoto County 6-4 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Booker since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
