Softball Recap: Signal Mountain Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Signal Mountain's offense. They came up short against the Walker Valley Mustangs on Wednesday, falling 9-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Signal Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Walker Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-6 record this season.

Signal Mountain will look to defend their home field on Monday against Marion County at 6:00 p.m. The Warriors will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last. As for Walker Valley, they will venture away from home to take on Cleveland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
