Everything went their way against the East Wilkes Cardinals on Friday as the Mountain Heritage Cougars made off with a 38-14 victory. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by 24 points or more this season.
Brandon Quinn was his usual excellent self, rushing for 186 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards.
When it comes to explaining why East Wilkes lost, don't look at Phoenix Blackburn. Despite the final result, he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
