Volleyball Recap: Draper APA Takes a Loss

Draper APA and San Juan squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Draper APA had to settle for second. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Broncos. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Broncos apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2022.

Jovee Riness paced Draper APA's offense, picking up ten kills. Riness got some help from Kuuipo Denny and her ten assists. Zoey Ruiz controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Draper APA's loss dropped their record down to 25-5. As for San Juan, they are on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Draper APA nor San Juan have any future games scheduled.
