After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fort Frye, Belpre was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Federal Hocking Lancers with a sharp 11-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Golden Eagles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Carson Moore was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was AJ Copen, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Belpre now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Federal Hocking, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Belpre will square off against rival Trimble at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Federal Hocking is set to face off against their familiar foe Eastern at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
